    2. **Compliance and Standards:**

    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).

    - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.

    - Prepare and manage regulatory and accreditation surveys and audits.

    3. **Patient Care and Safety:**

    - Oversee patient safety initiatives and risk management programs.

    - Implement best practices for patient care and safety.

    - Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction, and develop strategies for improvement.

    4. **Data Management and Analysis:**

    - Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics and performance data.
