Serves as Director for Quality Management and Infection Control departments for UF Health Leesburg Hospital. Coordinates quality performance improvement activities across the campus to achieve performance goals. Monitors quality outcomes for the campus and provides necessary reporting to Executive Team as needed. Collaborates with Directors of Quality across the UF Health Enterprise for coordination of standards and processes across the organization. Attends and participates in selected department/division meetings, Quality committees, medical staff meetings and MCE. Collaborates with Manager of Accreditation and Patient Safety to ensure and maintain survey readiness. Attends physician peer review process as needed. Manages Infection Control team and monitors adherence to IC standards for the campus.
