    This role will lead the development of a Quality Management System, IS0-9001 certification, and manage the Document Control function which includes product lifecycle, change control, sourcing control, system integration and Arena/PLM system administration.

    This will be achieved by leveraging an understanding of best practices in Quality Management & Document Control systems, tools and concepts that drive a culture of Quality working in close partnership with our engineering and operations teams.

     

    Responsibilities Include:

     

      Collaborating with cross functional teams to implement a quality management system, quality standards and policies to meet ISO-9001 regulatory requirements.

      Provide leadership to prepare Sakuu for ISO 9001 certification audit.

      Implement and manage the Program Life Cycle (PLC) Phase Gate Process for productization of Battery cells and Kavian Equipment.

      Partner with cross functional managers and staff to provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.

      Own and manage the Document Control function including lifecycle management and ensure that all change requests, documents, bill of materials and sourcing is controlled, validated, and adheres to procedures and standards.

      Develop and facilitate Quality Management System and Document Control training to Sakuu employees.

      Own and manage all Document Control and Quality Management System standard operating procedures and policies.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • 5 years of Quality or Regulatory Experience

    • 5 years’ experience with Document Control including PLM system administration

    • Familiarity and exposure to ISO requirements

    • Manufacturing environment including ERP, PLM (Arena or Agile) experience

    • ISO Auditor experience is a plus

    • Highly organized collaborator

    • Highly self-directed to achieve ambitious goals

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Strong problem-solving and influencing skill


    Physical Requirements

    ·         Ability to communicate in real-time with co-workers, and external contacts

    ·         This is a largely sedentary position, with the majority of work done either in face-to-face meetings, or on computers

    ·         Ability to do repetitive work for prolonged periods of time

    ·         Travel frequency will be incidental

     

    Location

    Sakuú’s culture is best experienced in person, and selected candidates will be expected to work onsite in our South San Jose location.  Remote work schedules are not available.

    $115,000 - $140,000 a year
    The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $115,000 to $140,000. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, Sakuú offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
