    Position Summary

    Trupanion is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and lead complex program and portfolio management initiatives as our global footprint expands. The ideal candidate should bring a strong technology background (requirements gathering, development, implementation, ongoing operations) as well as the ability to effectively manage stakeholders across a variety of business functions and geographies. The candidate should bring a desire, and the experience, to build high performing teams.

    This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

    What You Will Do

    • Program and Portfolio Leadership: Lead and oversee the management of complex programs and portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Technology Development and Implementation: Drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology-related projects, following best practices and quality standards.
    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication, alignment, and engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
    • Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks and issues, making critical decisions to keep programs on track.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, provide regular status reports, and facilitate portfolio level reviews to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
    • Team Leadership & Resource Management: Promote a culture of collaboration, empowerment and fun. Don’t forget to bring your continuous improvement mindset and experience as well.

    Experience You Have

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • 3 years experience in program and portfolio management, including complex and technology-focused projects.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and geographical locations.
    • Exceptional leadership, team building, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Change Management (Org Effectiveness) experience preferred.

    Compensation

    • The pay range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000, on a full-time schedule.
    • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
    • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
