Manages budgets and ensures long-term availability of raw goods for production needs. Additionally, Quarry Superintendent may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Quarry Superintendent typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.   • As a Quarry Superintendent in Training, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to groom you for a leadership role within our organization. This program is tailored to provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of our aggregate operations.

    Responsibilities – What Will You Do?

    • Learn the ins and outs of aggregate mining, processing, and distribution, including equipment operation, maintenance, and quality control.
    • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed rigorously across all operations, and actively promote a safety-first culture.
    • Collaborate with experienced managers to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Work closely with supervisors and frontline employees, gaining insight into effective team management, and contributing to team development and cohesion.
    • Understand and promote environmentally responsible practices in aggregate operations, including regulatory compliance.
    • Build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and participate in customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and business growth.
    • Develop a foundational understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in the context of aggregate operations.
    • Compile and analyze operational data, preparing reports for senior management on key performance indicators and progress in training objectives.
    • Participate in special projects and initiatives to gain experience in managing complex tasks and projects.

    Requirements – Who Are We Looking For?

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent experience required.
