Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer Position

Full time position. We are looking for a person to work in the yard, and be able to adapt in different areas of need. Job responsibilities will vary. Previous quarry / mining experience helpful. This position routinely has you working outside in the elements and may require several hours of standing.

Responsibilities and Duties

Performing routine plant maintenance and repairs.

· Assist plant operator in any way.

· Use of various hand tools.

· Operate the water truck.

· Operate loader (requires MA hoisting license)

· maintenance of heavy machine parts

· Keep work areas clean and in a safe condition

· Drive pit trucks or end dumps.

Requirements and Skills

· Driver’s license – MA 2A hoisting license (If you will be operating front loaders)

· Must follow all company policies and procedures.

· Must be able to work alone if needed.

· Must be willing to work at heights and tight spaces.

· Knowledge of power hand tools.

· Must available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.

· Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.

· Must have a willingness to learn, take direction.

· Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

· Complete work assignments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.50 per hour
