Manages budgets and ensures long-term availability of raw goods for production needs. Additionally, Quarry Superintendent may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Quarry Superintendent typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. General purpose of the job
The Quarry Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to lead all aspects of the quarry operation, including safe, efficient operation of all quarry fixed and mobile equipment; implementation of the mine plan; effective coordination with other plant departments and supervision of quarry employees.
