Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration Perferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all administrative and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare laws
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and insurance processing
- Implement and maintain efficient office procedures and policies
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Handle human resources duties such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is required , greater than one year.
- Proficiency with NextGen practice management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.
- Strong understanding of critical care practices.
- Ability to effectively supervise staff and manage medical office operations.
- Familiarity with medical management principles and human resources best practices.
