The Facility Services Shift Supervisor is responsible for the day to day planning and executing of all housekeeping and/or conversion needs. They will complete assigned tasks by performing duties personally or through delegation to Housekeeping Attendants and Conversion Technicians. The Facility Services Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing and leading staff to include coaching, performance feedback and disciplinary actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support management with the coordination of personnel and daily activities involved in the successful execution of department operations on a designated shift; rotating on a predetermined schedule to cover other shifts
Participate in pre-shift meetings to facilitate team building, motivation, safety, training, company and event information sharing
Proactively communicate with staff to assure a high morale and positive work environment
Make recommendations to managers regarding performance recognition and rewards
Assist shift manager with scheduling of Facility Services staff to ensure deployments are prepared and filled according to shift and event housekeeping and/or conversion needs
Execute off-season summer projects and maintenance plans created by managers
Participate and assists in training employees on housekeeping and/or conversion "best practices"
Assure the health, safety and security of co-workers and guests by following and ensuring staff follow all operational and safety procedures, rules and OSHA standards
Assist managers in the investigation, reporting and recordkeeping of all accidents, safety violations and employee disciplinary incidents
Provide support with ongoing maintenance and care of all housekeeping and/or conversion equipment
Responsible for maintenance of SDS sheets for all chemicals and products, ensuring they are up to date and in the correct locations
Assist with inspection of building to ensure cleaning standards are maintained at a high level and building remains in a clean and safe state
Support department inventory process, resource/supply tracking and recordkeeping
Maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, guests and visitors
Remain flexible and adjusts to situations and exhibits unconditional professionalism
Perform other duties, as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience supervising a large, diverse staff
1 year of experience in a sports/entertainment venue preferred
Proven leadership ability
Demonstrated knowledge in the practice and procedures related to all areas of housekeeping and/or event set up, tear down and change overs
Possesses a thorough understanding of the operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical requirements for all the types of events anticipated at the facility
Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
Effective written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management and decision-making abilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Willingness and ability to work a flex schedule of various hours and multiple shifts, to include overnights, weekdays, weeknights, weekends and holidays
