Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques, cooking methods, and portion control
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and ensure consistency in food quality
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Oversee banquet operations, ensuring timely delivery of food for events
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns regarding food quality or service
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the culinary industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices
- Excellent cooking skills with experience in banquet or large-scale cooking preferred
- Ability to manage a team effectively and provide clear direction
- Knowledge of kitchen management software is a plus
- Bartending or food service management experience is desirable
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required
