What you'll be doing:

The RF Engineer designs wireless system with vendor supplied electronics; selects sites, performs operational changes and spectrum management.

• Performs site selection/placement, tower height evaluation, antenna selection, output power levels and other details involved with the transmission and reception of cellular telephony.
• Evaluates spectrum utilization at each site, its ability to support traffic and its impact on the system, coordinates with adjacent systems and respective companies.
• Monitors and trends current system performance, makes changes to improve performance to meet market objectives of minimal dropped calls and quality audio. Analyze E911 and analyze drive test data.
• Assist Site Acquisition manager with coordinating and completing processing of all legal permits and processes associated with site design; includes dealing with FAA, FCC, state, city, county and local villages and townships.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering degree or comparable experience required.
• Valid Driver’s license

It would also be helpful, but not required to have…

• 3-5 years RF Engineering design and optimization
