Radiologic Technologist performs radiological imaging examinations of patients using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. Positions patient as needed to obtain optimal images and prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Being a Radiologic Technologist develops exposed X-ray film, ensures proper film identification on all images, and creates x-ray CD copies. Files films, maintains medical records, and performs other related administrative duties. Additionally, Radiologic Technologist typically requires an associate degree in a related area. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The Radiologic Technologist works under moderate supervision. This is a Full-time, Monday through Friday, day-shift position. We are seeking a radiologic technologist (RT) with general diagnostic, IR procedures, or cardiac catheterization experience to join our vascular clinical team.
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the clinical team with vascular access procedures while operating a C-Arm, scrubbing in for interventional procedures, and providing support to the clinical team during pre- and post-procedure activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory of medical supplies, and participating in general center operations.
