Radiologic Technologist performs radiological imaging examinations of patients using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. Positions patient as needed to obtain optimal images and prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Being a Radiologic Technologist develops exposed X-ray film, ensures proper film identification on all images, and creates x-ray CD copies. Files films, maintains medical records, and performs other related administrative duties. Additionally, Radiologic Technologist typically requires an associate degree in a related area. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The Radiologic Technologist works under moderate supervision. The McGinley Clinic is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist Intern for our Casper office location. This is an internship that will work directly around any classes, clinical hours, and school related activities. Otherwise, weekly office hours of 8AM – 7PM and 9AM - 3PM on Saturdays. This individual will work directly with the staff technologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and/or Dr. Joseph McGinley in a fast paced and growing musculoskeletal interventional care clinic and our orthopedic urgent care center. The primary focus will be imaging for our clinic and urgent care patients. The imaging facility will also provide x-ray imaging services to patients referred by outside providers.
