Audit & Rating Assistant

  • Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking an Audit & Rating Assistant to join its Underwriting Support Team at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI. In general, the Audit & Rating Assistant completes new and renewal Workers' Compensation and Excess Workers' Compensation quotes. This position reviews and processes policy audits.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Review quote information for completeness. Create spreadsheets to combine and format data for entry into the internal rating system.
    • Perform data entry into internal rating system. Review all documents for accuracy. Create multiple quote options as requested.
    • Create recaps on completed quotes. Export completed quotes into the internal pricing system adding information as needed for various lines of coverage. Send notification of completed quotes.
    • Send requests and needed follow-ups on information necessary to complete the final policy audits. Review audit information received for completeness.
    • Process Workers’ Compensation policy endorsements with changes needed based on audit information received.
    • Process final audits in the internal rating system. Create audit recaps. Route completed audits. Process audit revisions as necessary.
    • Utilize various sources to obtain insured modification factors, Company filed rates. Research classifications and review various state rating & audit rules and regulations.
    • Maintain and update internal status reports.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    This position requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Working as an Audit & Rating Assistant requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
