Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Sort, label, and store received items in designated areas
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading and shipping labels
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system
- Perform regular stock checks to identify discrepancies or shortages
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and picking/packing techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and external partners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
