    JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for highly organized management of the Receiving department, which includes fleet dispatch, will-calls, and sub rentals. This position includes, but is not limited to process development, implementation and consistent training to meet performance goals. Will interact with multiple department managers, as well as production, administration, the sales force and field operations team.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Ensures that all inventory and equipment is properly off-loaded from returning event orders.
    • Ensures all Department Operation Board are filled & Updated.
    • Manages off-loading all equipment from any fleet vehicle.
    • Oversees all in bound shipping packages and assures accurate, appropriate distribution and logs.
    • Establish and implement systems for managing all items being received and any function pertaining to (requests, approvals, tracking numbers, reporting, etc.).
    • Establishes, implements and manages all in bound receivable items procedures and logs.
    • Creates written, clear and manageable standard operating procedures for the receiving department.
    • Manages the physical movement of stock, tools, equipment and materials (receiving cycle).
    • Ensures all company receiving, loss prevention and security measures are implemented and adhered to by staff.
    • Manages receiving department leads and staff in consistent, positive and effective manger.
    • Constantly seeks long-term team member retention through training, feedback and coaching.
    • Labor management of assigned team members, including scheduling and scrutinized cost management.
    • Maintains locked consumable inventory storage for the department with accurate par-stock inventory.
    • Managers team members for the department, while keeping in compliance with State and Federal laws, with guidance from Human Resources.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve employee questions and concerns pertaining to receiving/facilities.
    • Walks the receiving area regularly to ensure physical appearance and safety compliance standards
    • Proposes cost effective improvements for the facility, fleet and all equipment and operational processes.
    • Trains, classifies and evaluates all department team members.
    • Assigns daily workload to department staff.
    • Communicates daily workload to department staff.
    • Available for emergency contact and management assistance whenever workflow dictates.
    • Phone/email interaction with co-workers.
    • Attends group staff meetings.
    • Responsible for the implementation of departmental budgets and cost control.
    • Responsible for Schedules, labor forecasts, Planning and the implementation.
    • Serves as liaison between the Receiving department and the sales team.
    • Utilizes Company data and analysis to ensure accuracy of information to build labor forecasts & quarterly planning.
    • Ensures a clean and safe work environment at all times.
    • Ensures department goals (Daily, Weekly, monthly) are met.
    • Provides daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually reports to the Warehouse Manager.
    • Coordinates with the Warehouse Manager for disposal of unusable materials & trash with stablished waste management vendors.
    • Communicates daily with the Warehouse Manager on workflow & project statuses.
    • Attends a twice-daily operations meeting, company production meetings & sales meeting as required.
    • Key requisition agent for departmental purchases, using system software.
    • Must be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as potential and current clients.
    • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
    • Maintain confidentiality when discussing clients, proprietary information and team.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • GED or High School Diploma
    • Minimum of 3-5 years in receiving lead or supervisor position
    • Must be able to supervise a staff
    • Must be able to train and coach on a regular basis
    • Must understand basic accounting and standard business operations practices
    • Provide written reports and feedback to management
    • Must be organized and team driven
    • Advanced computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office suite
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record
    • Must be able to drive 16’ and 24’ trucks

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to heavy 
    • The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather
    • The employee must be able to drive 16’ and 24’ truck
