Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitor logs. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes. Being a Receptionist performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving and sending mail and packages. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Additionally, Receptionist may provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Receptionist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate office activities and ensure office supplies are stocked
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of Automotive CRM systems is a plus
