Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitor logs. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes. Being a Receptionist performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving and sending mail and packages. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Additionally, Receptionist may provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Receptionist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. A Receptionist in our community provides a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who enters. In addition to greeting guests, vendors, or anyone arriving, a Receptionist is responsible for maintaining visitor logs and communicating with visitors and those they are looking to visit with. A Receptionist will also answer calls, route phone calls, provide information about the community, and assist with all inquiries made. A Receptionist is the first face people see entering our community and has the privilege of setting the tone for every visit.
