Large Medical office in Irvine is in need of a Medical Records Clerk. This role is in office and full time Monday-Friday. This is a long term temporary position.
Medical Records/Front Office Float;
Medical Records
1. Electonic Medical Records experience- scanning, uploading and filing
2. Phones
3. Meet/greet patients, schedule appointments
4. Insurance verification
5. Accurately enters data into software system to ensure proper billing of insurance cases.
6. Files charts and records at the end of each day
7. Extremely organized individual with drive to learn.
Experience: Must have working knowledge of EMR, or EHR. Computer skills are necessary. Previous experience with medical software is a plus.
A strong background in medical terminology. Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, and customer service skills.
