Records Supervisor supervises a team working in the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Supervisor evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Provides training and guidance to end users. Additionally, Records Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Records Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     • Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referrals.
    • Ensure that referrals are addressed in a timely manner.
    • Present necessary medical information such as history diagnosis and prognosis
    • Provide specific medical information as requested.
    • Ensure that patient’s primary care chart is up to date with information on specialist consult
    Additional Responsibilities of this role includes:
    • Scanning, tracking, and coordinates patient materials into the EMR systems in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Maintains confidentiality security, and physical safety of SSI facility as well as Medical Records dept.
    • Ability to cross-train within Medical Records department.
    • Quality control of patient confidentiality.
    • Exemplary ethical leadership and conflict management
