Records Supervisor supervises a team working in the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Supervisor evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Provides training and guidance to end users. Additionally, Records Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Records Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
May remain seated for extended periods of time. Some walking for taking charts to the medical units is required. Ability to stand, bend and stretch is required for filing. Use of the hands for taking notes, typing, and message is required. Some lifting required.

Well lighted, ventilated area within the hospital.
