The City of Marinette – REC Center is seeking creative, enthusiastic and sports minded applicants for Recreation Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator supports with day-to-day operations of the Marinette REC Center assisting with administrative support, camps, clinics and recreation programming. Duties include communicating with parents, supervising summer staff, and planning/execution of recreation center activities. Work closely with Recreation Superintendent, contractors, volunteers and the public.
If you enjoy working with the community in a sport setting while providing safe and healthy spaces, are outgoing and fun, and can set expectations for yourself and others this might be a good fit for you.
Qualifications: High school diploma; experience in recreation field or related responsibilities preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of programs. Knowledge of developing and facilitating a variety of recreation programs. A Wisconsin Drivers License is required and residency requirements apply. Candidate must reside in the State of Wisconsin within six months of hire.
Pay: $21.30/hr.Job Type: Full-time, 40/hours per week. Schedule may need to adjust to include evenings, weekends and non-standard hours.
