    Summary

    Operate and maintain combine equipment, used to harvest crops safely and effectively. Ensure equipment is in good working condition and adheres to all applicable safety rules.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate Combine equipment in a safe and efficient manner to harvest crops and move them to the transportation equipment without damage to equipment or the crop.
    • Operate equipment efficiently with utmost concern for safety of self and other employees, equipment and crops.
    • Maintain equipment; grease and check hydraulic fluids and all moving parts daily.
    • Clean both the interior (cabs) and the exterior of equipment daily.
    • Inspect for faulty or worn parts.
    • Follow all applicable safety procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Typical Education

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Relevant Experience

    1 years related experience and / or training

    • Able to operate equipment and use tools in a skilled and safe manner.
    • Able to communicate with other workers and management; bilingual skills preferred.
    • Able to work alone or in a team environment.
    • Able to work safely around equipment and other people.
