Refinery Operator jobs in South Carolina

Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty in the field. Additionally, Refinery Operator typically reports to a supervisor/manager. To be a Refinery Operator typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill.
