Regional Agency Director is responsible for all facets of sales performance for insurance agencies within a designated geographic area. Develops policies, objectives, and initiatives for agencies in the region and is responsible for ensuring the region meets its projected goals. Being a Regional Agency Director coordinates operations with those of other regions. Directs agency and district managers in achieving their goals and objectives of securing the optimum volume of high-quality business at proper cost. Additionally, Regional Agency Director is responsible for number of premiums written per region. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Agency Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Regional Agency Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Position Overview

    The Asset Management Director is responsible for the management of all activities related to the Low Rent Programs, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Programs, and any other programs that are administered through properties managed and acquired. This position is responsible for supervising and directing the work of at least 6 full-time program employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading teams of property management and maintenance for Section 9, LIHTC, Rural Development, and any other programs/properties acquired.
    • Directs, plans, and coordinates, through subordinate managers and supervisors, the work of employees engaged in providing private subsidized housing assistance and providing feedback and resolving complex problems.
    • Responsible for all aspects of the quality control/assurance of all assigned programs.
    • Directs and implements new housing programs; formulates and directs long-term and short-term strategic planning and the development of performance standards.
    • Works closely with the Controller and Senior Director of Operations to ensure programs are financially strong and performing well. Aids in the process of completing budgets and ensuring operational needs can be met with approved budgets.
    • Work with Construction Project Manager and Procurement Specialist to ensure that all Energy Audits, Environmental Reviews, PNAs/GPNAs are current and completed within the allotted time frames and to keep an updated list of capital needs for each property.

    Additional Management Responsibilities

    • Coordinates and manages all assigned personnel in accordance with standard Housing Authority practice. Supervises and directs the work of employees. This position will be responsible for making out Section 9 (Low Rent) and LIHTC program employee schedules.
    • Prepares periodic reporting related to overall property performance.

    Additional management duties may be assigned, as needed, to ensure the maximum performance of the programs and properties assigned.

    Required Knowledge and Abilities

    • Knowledge of the structure, operations, policies, and procedures of a Public Housing Agency.
    • Knowledge of the structure, operations, policies, and procedures of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, Public Housing, and Rural Development programs.
    • Knowledge of the vision, mission, and purposes of the Authority as established by the Board of Commissioners and the Executive Director.
    • Knowledge of current trends in effective property management and program management.
    • Ability to proactively modify the operational approach to maximize the performance of assigned properties.
    • Ability to present ideas and information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing.

    Minimum Education, Training, and/or Experience

    This position requires graduation from an accredited college with a BS/BA; a minimum of five years of experience supervising and/or maintaining a multifamily rental property; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Regular attendance is required for this position. Certified Property Manager® (CPM) Certification preferred. Property Management Certification in accordance with HUD guidelines within 1 year of employment. Maintenance Management Certification within 1 year of employment. Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certification within 1 year of employment. Uniform Physical Code Standards Certification within 1 year of employment. Annual Continued Education hours are not less than twenty-five (25) hours.

    Special Requirements

    1. Possession of a valid Arkansas driver’s license.

    2. Must be bondable.

    3. Must pass a criminal background check

    4. Must pass an alcohol and drug test

    5. Excellent communication skills

    6. An analytical mindset with great problem-solving skills

    7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills

    8. A business acumen with a strategic ability

    9. Working knowledge of MS office and program management software

    10. Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting

    11. Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques

    12. Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
