Regional Claims Manager manages the operations of an insurance claims department to meet operational, financial, and service requirements. Oversees the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. Being a Regional Claims Manager manages appraisal and examination staff and processes. Assures timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions. Additionally, Regional Claims Manager recommends and implements best practices to ensure complete and thorough claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations following company policies and insurance industry regulations. Determines the value of settlements for escalated claims. Manages negotiations of settlements and administration of claims in litigation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Claims Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regional Claims Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     This role has been designated as Remote within Geography. Requiring no less than 1 day in a local branch office and maybe more frequently during the assimilation period.     Job Summary: 

    As a Regional Service Warranty Claims Specialist, you will join Trane’s best in class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings. In this role, you will function as a key individual responsible for driving top tier customer satisfaction for all existing clients. This role plays a vital role in monitoring Post Sale services and supply of parts to the market with the objective of guaranteeing the satisfaction of consumers and concessionaries with a minimum cost of warranty, greater volume and margin of sale of parts. This role is a supporting role in a team, typically working under moderate supervision to deliver on day-today objectives. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Impacts own team through the quality of the services or information provided.  
    • Processes, reviews, and administers warranty claims including repairs and refunds.  
    • Analyzes feedback from the field and warranty statistics to prevent recurring problems.  
    • Assists in the resolution of product and system weaknesses for servicing products.  
    • Supports the post sales services and products quality to prevent the recurring problems and to drive the customers satisfaction.  
    • Collecting warranty feedback and statistics, processing and administering warranty claims, providing assistance to resolve the product and system weaknesses. 
    • Still need to require higher skills. Impact is typically at own job area or sometimes at team level through the services quality or the information provided.  
    • Collaborates with sales and marketing, merchandising, manufacturing, quality, engineering, product development, and others to ensure cross-functional communication and resolution of product issues.  
    • Interact with team members and sometimes with other functions such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, product development and others. Typically share the information among the team.  

    Qualifications 

    • Associate degree in business or related area and/or equivalent with 2 years minimum related work experience in a customer service focus capacity is preferred. 
    • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred. 
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:   
      • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. 
    • Proficiency Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) products and office equipment required. 
    • Ability to clearly communicate including presentation skills and develop relationships. 
    • Proven ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus, high sense of urgency to complete tasks, and effectively manage multiple priorities.  
    • Demonstrate ability to be self-driven, a collaborative team player, and assertive with solutions. 
    • Flexibility to work overtime, as required.

     Base Compensation Range: $50,000 to $82,000. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
