Regional Retail Banking President jobs in Maine
Regional Retail Banking President directs all facets of operations for a group of retail branch offices in a designated geographic area. Defines sales and service initiatives for the region. Being a Regional Retail Banking President develops objectives and measurement standards and monitors each branch's performance. Ensures that branch administration teams conduct operations and provide the service and product offerings that meet the needs of customers in that region. Additionally, Regional Retail Banking President may have responsibility for additional retail products such as small business and consumer lending. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Retail Banking President manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Regional Retail Banking President typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Join us as a Summer Banking Trainee where you will have a unique opportunity to learn more about the banking industry and career options, grow your professional network, and support our retail banking centers.
Trainees will receive 2 weeks of teller training in our Learning Lab before joining a branch to grow their customer service skills and complete teller transactions.
During the summer you will also have an opportunity to learn more about a multitude of career options within the banking industry, even including fields such as Marketing, IT or HR. You’ll gain insight and development opportunities as you spend time shadowing in a department of interest and learning from current employees.

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Currently enrolled in a degree program preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Basic computer fluency
- Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Self-motivated and driven with exemplary engagement
- Willingness to accept direction/instruction and work well within a team of professionals
- Exceptional internal and external customer service with demonstrated relationship-building skills
Additional Requirements:- Saturday morning availability required
- Dependable transportation as position will include travel to any Norway Savings Bank offices as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards.Physical effort required; lifting up to 35 lbs.; reaching, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling; standing for extended periods of time; freedom of movement on a regular basis; handling of materials and supplies.
