Regional Retail Banking President directs all facets of operations for a group of retail branch offices in a designated geographic area. Defines sales and service initiatives for the region. Being a Regional Retail Banking President develops objectives and measurement standards and monitors each branch's performance. Ensures that branch administration teams conduct operations and provide the service and product offerings that meet the needs of customers in that region. Additionally, Regional Retail Banking President may have responsibility for additional retail products such as small business and consumer lending. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Retail Banking President manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The hiring range for this position is $65,000- $102,000.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages five (5) to ten (10) employees.

Knowledge and Skills
It is required that the employee in this position can manage and lead a team, as well as work both independently to build and deepen customer relationships with internal and external customers. This employee should be able to interpreting ideas and facts, while also analyzing and interpreting federal and state laws and/or regulations. This employee should have strong customer service and sales skills, as well as strong written communication skills and the ability to make effective presentations in a group setting. Employees with exceptional verbal and numerical aptitudes are preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
This position requires intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
Education and Work Experience
A Bachelor’s degree and/or certification from the New England School for Financial Studies is required. A minimum of three years in retail banking or banking center experience is required. The ability to acquire and maintain a Notary Public license is required. Must maintain active registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
This position is in a general Retail Branch environment and may require prolonged periods of standing and looking at a computer screen. Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; reaching over the counter; talking and hearing; and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
