However, dentists are busy people. They are focused on their practice. We are adding a strong salespeople to help us connect with, qualify, and help these dentists become clients. Dentistry is and still remains a handshake business so getting in front of these dentists will yield lucrative results.
We are expanding our national sales team and adding a sales rep in Indiana. Our Indiana-based Dental Sales Representative will aid in giving attention at the state level that the national sales team does not have enough time to penetrate on a consistent basis. This Indiana-based sales representatives will cover the entirety of the state of Indiana to be part of any/all things dental-related (i.e. shows, study clubs, speaking events, meetings, etc) as well as calling on dentists and specialists directly. The deep penetration in the state will be aided by employer-sponsored events to cover the state and help all dentists gain a deep understanding of our firm and support our reps with their entrepreneurial spirit. Each sales person will have a built in budget to host and sponsor events. ***There is an extensive training period for this role that historically is a minimum of 6 months where the applicant will be further honing skillset, verbiage, and technique from an inside sales role in order to put the applicant in the best position possible to succeed. If you love prospecting and selling (but not the account management aspects) and would love to take it to a higher level of client, this position is for you. Be ready to elephant hunt for big commissions. Candidates that have been in insurance sales, investment/financial sales, or real estate sales for 2-10 years would be well-suited to graduate into this position. To support you, our in-house marketing coordinator and event planner can aid in creating custom campaigns utilizing our national branding that has been developed for over 18 years. **You must be able to prove you have had success in selling and that you come from a pure prospecting environment where you had to start from scratch.**
Additional responsibilities in the role will be securing national/regional speaking engagements with dental organizations, following up on marketing materials, attendance at trade shows, and other entrepreneurial hunting activities that will be purely supported by the company. Also, national dental shows and company sponsored events will also be apart of monthly responsibilities.
