REGIONAL SALES MANAGER FOR AWNINGS, SCREENS, PORCH ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS & LEISURE ROOMS– Upper Mid-West
Futureguard Building Products is looking for a qualified candidate to handle Sales in our Upper Mid-West Territory (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois & Missouri). This position is responsible for servicing our existing customer base along with a strong emphasis on growing sales through new dealer development. Futureguard markets Retractable awnings, Retractable exterior solar & insect screens, fabric and aluminum awnings along with our most recent launch of our “Pool, Patio and Spa collection”, which includes Cabanas, Leisure Rooms and Porch Enclosure Systems.

Success in this position requires maturity, reliability, integrity, and strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills both on the phone and in person as well as mechanical aptitude as it relates to awning manufacturing and trouble shooting.
Job Details:
- You must be a self-starter, team player, have the ability to work independently, and be comfortable making cold calls with a strong closing average.
- This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management.
- Proficiency with technology is key due to this being a remote position.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office 365 & CRM software a plus.
- The position will require a significant amount of travel within the five-state area, as well as national travel to trade shows as needed.
- A company lettered pick-up truck is provided for business use only.
- This is a Business to Business only position, we manufacture and wholesale we do not sell direct to any consumers.
In addition to the above stated traits, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent, at least two years of dealer sales experience in the building, construction or shade products field and a strong desire to meet new people and develop new relationships. Compensation is a salary plus sales growth bonus. Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
