Description: This is semi-skilled level work in the care and supervision of clients at a state mental health facility. Employees assist residents in all areas of physical care and assume total responsibility for the hygiene of clients who are unable to independently perform such tasks. Other duties include general housekeeping assignments, participating in social and recreational activities for the residents, and writing nontechnical reports on consumer behavior and activity. General supervision is received from a Direct Care Supervisor, Alternate Supervisor, shift leader, or nursing supervisor; supervisory responsibilities are not assigned to positions allocated to this job class. Support Care Professional I 0-1 Years Experience $21,939.58 Annual = $10.51 hourly
Support Care Professional II 1-2 Years Experience $24,024.34 Annual = $11.51 hourly
Support Care Professional III 2-3 Years Experience $26,369.81 Annual = $12.63 hourly
Semi-monthly / per hour
SCHEDULE/SHIFTS:
1st shift: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.
2nd shift: 2:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M. Plus 10% Shift Differential
3rd shift: 10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M. Plus 15% Shift Differential
