Registrar oversees university/college's system of student records. Responsible for class registration, assigning classroom space, and updating student records. Being a Registrar ensures that all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that diplomas are factually correct. Determines students who have achieved certain scholastic goals, such as the Dean's List. Additionally, Registrar requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Registrar contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network is a private, CARF-accredited chemical dependency and rehabilitation treatment facility located in Fresh Meadows, Queens New York. Currently, we are seeking to fill a part-time position in our admitting department. Part-time candidates applying must be flexible and available to work Monday through Friday 4pm - 8pm, including Holidays. This is a union position with 1199 SEIU.
Job Requirements/Experience
1) Hospital experience preferred.
2) Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
