COMPENSATION: $19.86-$24.69 per hour

THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
All mandated data is submitted on time and error free

100% of Family Income Surveys and/or lunch applications are collected
-
Checking and reviewing a variety of data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to established standards and procedures;
-
Completing data verification and corrective action set by Home Office internal audit results;
-
Preparing reports and audit results to share with leadership team;
-
Filing & following up on TREX requests until complete student records are received;
-
Ensuring compliance with all state, federal and organizational policies and procedures with regards to student data;
-
Reviewing student records for documents related to Special Populations status and flagging the appropriate administrators to identify & serve students
-
Monitoring student records to ensure compliance with academic regulations and/or any special program flags; all data pertaining to information including attendance, grade reporting, special programs and balancing data to manual records;

Managing and maintaining student and PEIMS data entry in student information system, including but not limited to special programs, demographics, EL, etc.;

Serving as a liaison between campus personnel and Home Office regarding student information and attendance;
Campus maintains or is above ADA

Running attendance reports during homeroom and ADA
-
Maintaining attendance records and generate reports for school leadership;
-
Communicating with teachers to ensure attendance is taken accurately and on time;
-
Creating and entering attendance rosters for student trips or alternate schedule days;
-
Creating and distributing compulsory attendance letters warning parents of student absences;
-
Processing teacher correction forms and making all changes necessary in attendance database;
-
Collect all supporting attendance documents and organize by PEIMS reporting code
Campus maintains 0 missing grades at the end of each grading cycle

Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with grade reporting verification process;
-
Publishing all grades for families in the SIS by district deadlines;
-
Provide support through office hours and information sessions around grading each quarter
New student registration data is approved and accurate in Skyward
-
Establishing and maintaining student files ensuring all personal and academic records are kept current and accurate including the confidentiality of such files;
-
Requesting supplies to maintain student files in a timely manner;
-
Organizing, managing, and leading the enrollment, registration and withdrawal processes for all students;
-
Collaborating with testing coordinator to ensure state testing records and scores are displaying accurately in the student information system and filed in students’ cumulative folders;
-
Maintaining the distribution of student information to all responsible personnel of special programs and campus personnel;
-
Conducting and fulfilling student record requests for students, families, school personnel and external stakeholders;
-
Reviewing home language survey to ensure all students are tested & placed in the appropriate language of instruction

Create, plan and execute a successful Pre-K Round Up;
-
Prepare record requests for students who enroll at another school;
-
Additional duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years of an exemplary record working in a fast-paced office environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

THE PERKS

Compensation – This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; offers commensurate with experience.
- Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20 hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
Retirement Plans – Participation in Teacher Retirement System of Texas and a 457b Retirement Plan.
Paid Time Off – Employees working 20 hours a week receive 15 days of Paid Time Off in addition to the system closures during the Academic Calendar.
