Sales Assistant

If you are an ambitious, self-motivated professional who loves to interact with people over the phone then we have an inside sales assistant position for you! Located in Tampa in a class A office environment, we are an established consulting firm focused on businesses looking to expand in the government marketplace. We are looking for experienced, consultative phone sales representatives to add to this team.

The federal government is the leading purchaser of products and services in this country. We work with businesses who are in the process of becoming government contractors and assist them with registering and bidding on contracts, acquiring certifications, processing SAM registrations, and handling contract marketing and management. If you have experience assisting government contractors, you will excel in this role. If not, training is provided and all that is required is the ability to be successful.

Job Responsibilities:
Someone who can bring energy to a call and guide our prospects in making the best decisions based on their needs.

Duties will include:

• Develop product knowledge for your clients to determine what services are the best fit for them
• Making your way past gatekeepers to owners and executive decision makers
• Assisting the sales floor with lead prospecting
• Ability to effectively handle and manage inbound leads
• Create new opportunities through outbound calling
• Work alongside the sales team in setting up market assessments

Job Type: Full-time Salary plus commission: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
