Essential Responsibilities

-Manages all functions of the Student Information System (SIS) ( currently Aspen) and coordinates all functions of the SIS to state mandates. Oversees the automated technology system between SIS and the Rhode Island Department of Education.

-Oversees the District's Central Student Registration process.

-Enroll all students and new families in East Greenwich Schools.

-Coordinates annual new student enrollment with the Preschool Coordinator.

-Assists district staff with technical support, communication, and troubleshooting for SIS (Aspen), and online curriculum resources.

-Completes all district and Rhode Island state reports as required.

-Maintains the district database for state testing

-Oversees the maintenance and updates of user login and password database for staff, students, and parents which includes security and access in SIS (Aspen).

-Oversees Year End Processing of the SIS (Aspen)

-Set up and monitor automated data transfers between SIS (Aspen) and other software systems

-Provide onsite technical support for school staff to support meeting required deadlines in the SIS (Aspen)

-Assists Director of Administration with general support for school transportation questions

-Other duties and responsibilities as required by the Director of Technology.

Education

Preferred Bachelor degree in computer science or related field or Associates degree in computer science or related field or relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $59,542.91 per year
