DESCRIPTION
As a Vehicle Record Technician I, you will play a vital role in the management of vehicle records while ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Support: Monitor and promptly respond to customer emails following Car Registration Standards. Handle phone calls and voicemails, providing assistance in a professional, respectful, and knowledgeable manner.
- Order Processing: Support administrative functions by processing orders, maintaining communication with customers, following up on requests, and ensuring timely completion and shipment of orders.
- DMV Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of DMV resources related to vehicle registration and title transfer processes.
- Workspace Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and secure work environment in accordance with the Employee Agreement.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate the completion of daily office tasks and support team objectives.
- Mail Handling: Retrieve and collect mail from PO BOX and GLS as required.
- Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training and exams to stay updated and proficient in your role.
- Walk-In Assistance: Assist walk-in customers who visit the office.
- Order Monitoring: Keep an eye on orders approaching or exceeding predefined limits, addressing any suspicious orders according to established procedures.
- Return Mail: Follow up on and address all return mail promptly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and ensure adherence to daily inventory protocols, utilizing Google Sheets for record-keeping.
- Chargebacks: Handle and process chargebacks in accordance with company policies.
- Workflow Coordination: Lead the team through delegation and strategic planning to ensure workflow operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Data Quality: Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inventory issues.
- DMV Transactions: Prepare and process DMV field office and DMVA transactions.
- Title Transactions: Demonstrate the ability to process all Title Transactions inventory Handling: Receive inventory from our First Line Service Providers and communicate effectively with them to ensure seamless operations.
- Bundle: Prepare and submit complete bundles to our First Line Service Provider to ensure compliance with the CA DMV BPA program.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Google Sheets).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
