Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     About The Career:

    • The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager develops, enhances, and grows the regulatory compliance program; structures processes to drive optimal regulatory compliance and competence. The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager serves as an internal consultant on regulatory matters. The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager has knowledge of hospital operations and works across various divisions of the organization. The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager provides ongoing support to The Director of Quality, Risk, Compliance & Infection Control to assess compliance, facilitate change and improvement, and manages compliance and regulatory related projects.

    All About You:

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 5 years of experience in a healthcare organization is strongly preferred to include demonstrated leadership.
    • 3 years of compliance/regulatory healthcare experience strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations is a must.
