Chairs for Affairs in Concord, CA is looking for an awesome rental specialist to join our team. Our little CFA family is very close knit and we are looking for someone with an upbeat personality and sense of humor, who can handle pressure and multitask with patience.
Hours
The position is full time, usually Monday - Friday but we may have Saturday hours in the upcoming high season (so occasional availability would be a requirement). Hours are 8:30- 5:30 with some later evenings in our high season and lighter days in our low season. We are looking for someone who wants to stick around for a couple years, as this position takes a lot of training and our ideal candidate is someone who wants to grow with us and build a rapport with our returning clients. Reliability is crucial and limited time off will be available during May/June/Sept/Oct.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone that is very comfortable on the computer, can write clearly and utilize proper grammar, and is comfortable on the phone. Many days in our high season are CRAZY and the phones ring all day. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, be very organized, manage multiple things at once while staying cool, and be VERY detail oriented. The computer program we use isn't difficult, but we do a lot of note-taking and ask a lot of questions, so we need someone that can pick things up fast and be meticulous. Most importantly, this person is very client facing, so must have a friendly, upbeat personality and enjoy working with clients. Must have high school diploma and some college is a plus.
The details
The pay starts at $23/hr with room to grow (expect a $1/hr raise once you are rocking on your own, the first year). We also offer medical/dental, accident insurance, 401K and vacation pay, as well as a generous discount on rental supplies.
