Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     JOB SUMMARY: The NDSCS Business Affairs Office is looking to add a Generalist to their team. The selected candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills and be detail-oriented. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accounting duties, travel and expense processing, and serving as a backup for accounts payable, cashiering, and student inquiries.

    SALARY:
    $30,000 - $45,000, commensurate with education and experience

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
    • 2-year college degree or 4 years of work experience in a related field
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Experience working in an office setting
    • Microsoft Office experience
    • Accounting experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Business Administration or Accounting degree
    • Accounts Payable experience
    • Accounts Receivable experience
    • General Ledger experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • PeopleSoft experience
