  • The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is part of the team responsible for ensuring the Company's compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, while identifying and mitigating risks related to the Company's Pipeline assets. This position assists with compliance function activities related to the assets in.

    • Essential Job Function: Create and implement regulatory compliance process, adhering to CFR 49 Part 195 regulations, as well as other federal & state regulations.
    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluates and makes recommendations for the regulatory compliance functions, adhering to federal and state regulations.
    • Responsible for governmental agency interactions, processes and management of resolutions.
    • Ongoing compliance with regards to regulatory compliance requirements as well as hazardous waste handling.
    • Responsible for supporting all Company regulatory operations.
    • Conduct regulatory inspections to ensure compliance.
    • Upkeep of permits, business plans.
    • Support the development and design of operating requirements of pipeline facilities to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Analyze, interpret, regulatory policies.
    • Contact for inquiries, issues and audits related to regulations in support of regulatory and environmental compliance requirements.
    • Study both existing and new legislation, enforce adherence to policies and advise management on necessary actions to make sure company complies with local, state, and federal legal requirements.
    • Stay current on industry standards by continuing education, reading publications, talking with peers, and joining professional groups.
    • Explore new, innovative opportunities to add value to your job.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Education:

    • High School Diploma required.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    Work Experience:

    • Knowledge of Regulatory and Environmental Compliance, as they relate to the Oil Industry with 3-5 years of experience.
    • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, as it relates to the HAZMAT Liquid Pipeline CFR 49 Part 195 Industry.
    Competency:

    • Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects and Adobe.
    • Demonstrated ability to make sound recommendations and project plans that secure the continuing safe and compliant operation of the business.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills (training, presentation, team collaboration and communication) with the ability to influence others.
