Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The Rehab Supervisor manages the daily activities of staff in multiple patient care environments. Monitors services, programs and practices to ensure high quality services are provided to internal and external consumers. Provides skilled discipline service therapy to patients/clients presenting with a wide variety of ages, diagnoses and disabilities. Assists in the development of new programs and services. Participates as a member of the regional Rehab Services management team and supports/guides the accomplishment of targeted regional objectives.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree Accredited professional program in the specified discipline service (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology or Speech/Language Pathology). Or
    • Master's Degree Accredited professional program in the specified discipline service (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology or Speech/Language Pathology). Or
    • Doctorate Degree from an Accredited professional program in the specified discipline service (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology or Speech/Language Pathology). Or equivalent educ/experience
    • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License Or
    • Upon hire: Oregon Physical Therapist License Or
    • Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License Or
    • Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist Permit
    • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
    • Upon hire: National Provider Identifier (NPI)
    • Upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check for this position
    • 5 years Experience working as a therapist.
    • 2 years Experience with management/leadership responsibilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Upon hire: Membership in the national, state, or local professional association
    • 2 years Supervisory experience.
