Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care directs and supervises the activities of the benefits claims and provider reimbursement personnel in a home care environment. Sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Being a Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. Produces the documentation necessary for reimbursement, Medicare Compliance, and control of receivables. Additionally, Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Performs semi-skilled work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work. Direct employees regularly as primary duty to ensure the team provides outstanding environmental services to the community.

    The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

    • Manage environmental services program for the community.
    • Directly manage environmental services employees: Hire, coach employees, assign work, lead training for employees, when necessary terminate employment in accordance with HR process and policies.

    · Participate in Pathways of Purpose philosophy, knowledge of the program, and functional engagement during workday.

    • Performs electrical work such as repairing and replacing switches, receptacles, lights, and motors;
    • Performs plumbing installations and/or repairs such as repairing leaks, running new lines and plumbing fixtures, installing water heaters and commodes, repairing pipes, replacing valves, unclogging drains, and installing filters;
    • Monitors and repairs flooring and roof as well as ensures that roof is free of debris and excess materials;
    • Performs minor carpentry work;
    • Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner to promote effective and safe operations;
    • Utilizes a wide array of tools such as carpentry tools, electrical tools, mechanical tools, masonry tools, and plumbing tools;
    • May perform painting tasks, as assigned;
    • Attends in-service training workshops and meetings as required;
    • Conducts work tasks safely and in compliance with the community’s safety program;
    • Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guests and coworkers;
    • Promotes and protects the rights of all residents;
    • Know and understand the vision, purpose, values and goals of Anthem Memory Care.
    • Performs other related essential duties as required.

    Graduation from high school and one to two years of experience in a related field, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Supervisory experience is highly preferred.

    • Criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption, as required by law
    • Health evaluation to ensure ability to perform duties of the position and the absence of any communicable disease, including tuberculosis and CXR clearance.
    • Possess or able to possess a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record, and free of restrictions or limitations
    • Physical location and layout of community;
    • Principles, techniques, and methods used in the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems;
    • Principles, techniques, and methods used in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems;
    • Methods and techniques for paint application, safe utilization and operation of a variety of machinery, tools, and equipment used in the completion of daily tasks.
    • Ability to coordinate eyes, hands and fingers in performing skilled and semi-skilled movements, such as working with cordless drills, mechanical tools, carpenter tools, plumbing tools, and painting tools;
    • Ability to exert considerable force occasionally and/or a significant amount of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects;
    • Ability to exert physical effort in medium to heavy work involving walking, standing, sitting, and/or driving;
    • Ability to differentiate colors and shades of colors.

    Have ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate decimals, ratios, percentages, fractions and determine time and weight.

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform semi-repetitive tasks, e.g. machine monitoring;
    • Ability to apply principles of rational systems, e.g. mechanical repair.
    • Ability to comprehend and correctly use a variety of informational documents including electrical diagrams, building and landscape blueprints;
    • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, administrators, and residents.
    • Ability to work in cold, hot, or wet conditions;
    • Ability to work with toxic agents;
    • Ability to work in dusty or noisy environments.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
