Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare determines the extent to which patients' insurance covers their treatments. Reviews appropriateness of CPT-4/ICD-10 coding and determines if care provided corresponds to the charges submitted. Being a Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations and company policies that govern Medicare and state payment systems. May assist in identifying fraudulent non-plan billing practices and assists the legal department with litigation preparation. Additionally, Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from AAPC or AHIMA. The Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Remote Onboarding Specialist to fill an opening with a well-know and highly rated Closed-Door Specialty Pharmacy!
Daily Responsibilities for Remote Onboarding Specialist:- Accountable for accurate completion of the new hire paperwork and personnel files
- Communicated with internal resources and outside vendors regarding pre-employment requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, drug tests, etc.
- On-boarded new hires into PeopleSoft, processing of relocation paperwork, as applicable
- Performed work in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to equal. Employment opportunity, immigration, and company policy per management direction
- Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm either EST or CST
Required Qualifications for Remote Onboarding Specialist:- 2 years of Credentialing/Onboarding experience
- Savvy with Excel, good critical thinking skills, high volume demands, and very organized
