JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working knowledge of all aspects of the EtCetera Shop operation (inventory, pricing, procedures).             
• Maintains and is responsible for all monies collected along with daily receipts.        
• Monitors and assigns work to volunteers and Asst. Managers while performing all the tasks of a Manager.                                                                                               
• Trains, explains tasks and assists new volunteers.                                             
• Reports all pertinent information to Manager and/or Director of Volunteers.          
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.                              

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Pleasant telephone voice/manner. 
• Ability to operate cash register sufficiently to perform the job. 
• Knowledge of basic thrift shop operation.
• Should possess the initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.  Ability to learn specific job duties and complete work assignments. 
• Ability to perform the manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations. 
• Ability to life and carry heavy objects:  approximately 30 lbs. 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. 
• Ability to extend arms and hands, reaching for specific objects in local working areas. 
• Ability to grasp and hold specific objects.

EDUCATION

• High school education or equivalent.
