Reinsurance Director is responsible for the administration of reinsurance plans. Maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Being a Reinsurance Director communicates with customers and assists with plan design and distribution when necessary. Ensures timely accounting, reporting and auditing. Additionally, Reinsurance Director researches and analyzes reinsurance prices and specifications. Communicates with underwriting area to verify the proper reinsurance administration is put in place. Supports the investigation of proposed reinsurance opportunities, rate comparisons, and profitability analysis. May have responsibility for reinsurance customer service. Has attained industry designations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reinsurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Goddard is a leading national franchise in early childhood. Lynnwood, WA, is a soon-to-open location (under construction), and we are setting up a new team for our grand opening in February or March 2024. As a visionary and dedicated leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our preschool and provide young learners with a foundation for lifelong success.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversee all aspects of the preschool's daily operations, including curriculum development, staff management, and parent communication.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the holistic growth of young learners.
Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff. Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure a high-quality teaching team.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for children.
Financial Management: Oversee the preschool's budget, manage finances efficiently, and work to achieve and maintain financial sustainability.
Parent Communication: Foster positive relationships with parents and families, maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain partnerships with the local community, including parents, educational organizations, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in early childhood education or a related field
State licensing as a preschool director or eligibility to obtain it.
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting
Strong understanding of child development, curriculum development, and educational best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
