Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. A Relationship Manager is responsible for developing a business plan to maintain and grow existing relationships and is responsible for developing new relationships that meet our client selectivity and risk appetite. The Relationship Manager has had proven success in independently winning new relationships (credit and non-credit) and negotiating terms with minimal assistance. Relationship Managers will be expected to partner with the appropriate commercial banking colleagues (Loan Coordinators, Credit Analysts) to deliver credit relationships with the guidance of Credit Administration, the Senior Relationship Manager, Division Manager or Director. Relationship Mangers work closely with Treasury Management Officers to grow and service the non-credit needs of commercial clients. This position will develop and manage commercial relationships which meet established lending and client selectivity requirements and provide maximum profitability to the Bank with a minimum of risk.

Education/Skills/Training:
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst, Relationship Officer or the equivalent. Must have good understanding and working knowledge of commercial lending terminology, loan processing, loan documentation and lending procedures. Self-motivated and production-oriented with a desire to grow existing relationships and actively pursue business development.
