Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Under limited supervision, grow, manage, and monitor an existing portfolio of dairy, crop, and agribusiness client relationships within our market. While agricultural clients are the primary focus, new agribusiness, commercial, and commercial real estate client relationships are also desirable.
Relationships include clients who are users of some, or all the following financial services provided by State Bank Financial: Credit, Treasury Management, Investments, insurance, Merchant Processing, Retail Banking, Concierge Banking and Card products.
The Ag Relationship Manager will be responsible for profiling and cross-selling financial services to existing customers as well as prospects.
Operates within credit authority limits. Must be familiar with all applicable legal and regulatory laws and compliance, and monitors loan portfolio to ensure accounts are compliant. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations.

The Agricultural Relationship Manager travels for farm visits as well as works in an office environment. Work may be during normal business hours, or outside of normal business hours to meet customer needs. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical information is required. Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of supplies and/or documents throughout work shift. Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel in own car.
