Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Relationship Manager - Sales typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     We have an exciting opportunity for a remote, licensed Central Relationship Manager in the Greater Hartford, CT area! While you will work from home, you must reside near the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area as occasional in-person participation with your peers is an important part of our culture. We offer virtual interviewing and onboarding, as well as access to our virtual training and support. You’ll have full access to work from home capability to support our clients remotely

    The Purpose of Your Role

    This Central Relationship Manager position calls for positive energy and persistent drive! You will focus on engaging current and potential clients via phone. Working in partnership with our advisor teams, you will build the path to an enhanced client experience and explore ways we can deepen and expand the relationship we have with clients.

    The Expertise We’re Looking For

    • 1-3 years of experience in financial services (outbound calling experience preferred)

    • Related customer engagement experience desired

    • Series 7 required

    • Series 63 and 65 or Series 66 licensed or ability to acquire upon hire

    • Confidence with making outbound telephone calls to clients with various asset levels

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, peers, and business partners
