Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
In this role, you will provide client services and operational leadership within the branch and are accountable for growing market share through customer and employee satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will coach, motivate, and provide ongoing training in referrals, bank products, the client experience, and customer excellence to all branch employees. In addition, the Relationship Manager is responsible for staffing, management, coaching and motivating the staff and handles complex service issues, ensures that security, audit and compliance procedures are followed as outlined in bank policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in business or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two to three years' experience in banking or related management position, with additional supervisory experience preferred. Proven sales and leadership abilities required, and demonstrated organizational skills. Computer proficiency required.
