JOB PURPOSE: The Campus Administrator is primarily responsible for the operational management and financial oversight of the Sisters of Mercy Belmont, NC Campus. The Campus Administrator provides local leadership to staff, Sisters, and other stakeholders in a manner consistent with the Mission of the Sisters of Mercy and acts as the primary spokesperson for the organization, engaging with the community, and furthering the mission of the organization.

This mission serves as a motivational force in the day-to-day activities of the employees of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas and as we extend compassion and mercy to others, practice and encourage social justice, and strive to live mercifully.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain leadership presence and be the most visible and clear embodiment of Mercy values and commitment to the campus and Sisters of Mercy.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to all stakeholders on campus and foster a positive and productive organization ensuring that team members feel supported, motivated, and aligned with values and mission of the Sisters of Mercy.
- Oversee the heads of each department on campus and provide leadership to and manage the efforts of site staff to ensure appropriate support of all departments.
- Facilitate communication channels with other organizations on campus as well as local entities where interests are aligned.
- Maintain visibility across campus and build meaningful relationships with Sisters, stakeholders, employees, and various constituencies on campus.
- Represent the Sisters of Mercy and the Sacred Heart Campus to the greater civic community and address issues/concerns of the community and the surrounding neighborhood.
- Provide leadership to develop and strengthen labor and organizational programs and services, with the focus on quality improvement, values implementation, and productivity enhancement.
- Oversee the financial management of campus operations, including the annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring financial stability and accountability.
- Ensure accurate and timely budget development, management and variance reporting.
- Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and maintain financial stability of the campus.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to ensure that expenses align with the campus’s mission and goals.
- Responsible for both managing up to senior leadership, stakeholders, Sisters, etc. and managing across to staff of the Sisters of Mercy.
- Direct supervisory responsibility for the Facilities Manager and Food Services Manager.
- Recruit, hire, and manage a strong staff. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive teamwork environment and empowering team members.
- Develop staff by creating opportunities for growth, providing feedback, and encouraging personal development.
- Provide training opportunities and give employees the resources they need to succeed.
- Delegate tasks where appropriate to others and encourage participation from direct reports.
- Develop and maintain a communication plan that outlines the strategies and methods that will be used to communicate with stakeholders for the entire campus and all interests contained therein.
- Communicate campus news, closures, emergency information, events, etc to campus occupants, service line directors, communications team and leadership.
- Directly responsible for identification of emerging/critical issues on campus, serving as the liaison between all involved entities, actively participating in community interactions and informing Sisters of Mercy leadership of challenges and successes on campus.
- Oversee and direct all property and facility management staff and vendors to ensure the safe, continual use of campus buildings and grounds.
- Develop, monitor, and enhance emergency preparedness and response including safety and security precautions, managing safety personnel and plans for local and institute requirements.
- Ensure Sisters, occupants, and stakeholders work order requests and concerns are addressed in a timely fashion. Implement preventive measures to proactively address testing, recurrent and cyclical real estate/building needs.
- Oversee and implement efficiencies related to routine operating procedures and planned expenditures.

- Supports and maintains an awareness of sustainability programs and environmental initiatives to allow for energy savings in the areas of property management, utilities and water conservation.
- Coordinates training and staff education as needed (OSHA, medical, teamwork, etc.)
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of hospitality cars and other fleet vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
